Why so much anger against insurance companies...

I thought this was timely, given the reactions to the recent assassination. The problems are far broader than healthcare insurance. I've had both good and bad interactions with claims. After an ice storm over Xmas, 1998, we had roof damage, including a big red oak crashing through the living room roof. The insurance company performed splendidly.
